With permission, the MAA provides regional and national recognition for student awardees in the American Mathematics Competitions (including AMC, AIME, USAMO/USAJMO, MOP and international teams). Consenting gives the MAA permission to include your name and school affiliation (including state/country) in publications, including on the MAA’s website, if you qualify for recognition in the program. Your score will not be affected if you do not opt-in.

With permission, the MAA sends communications to students who participate in the American Mathematical Competitions (including AMC, AIME, USAMO/USAJMO, MOP and international teams) with information from third parties, including marketing information or invitations to be contacted directly by educational institutions, organizations, donors and sponsors, and others who we deem to have a legitimate interest for recruitment, academic or other career and education-related purposes. Students who opt out may not be eligible for awards sponsored by third parties. Your score will not be affected if you do not opt-in.

Any of the information provided may be shared including names, email addresses, school name and address, demographic information (gender/race/ethnicity/age/grade level), mailing addresses, competitions in which the student participated, scores, and information about the student’s score (such as whether it fell in a certain range).
Consenting gives the MAA permission to release your information to third party organizations as described above. Students who opt out may not be eligible for awards sponsored by third parties. Your score will not be affected if you do not opt-in.

With permission, the MAA retains student scores with the student's identifying information for up to 5 years after the end of the competition cycle. Consenting gives the MAA permission to retain these scores and information for 5 years. Otherwise, scores will be de-identified and/or deleted according to applicable laws.
